U.S. District Attorney visits GRIC
Caption: U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona, John S. Leonardo (right), and Tribal Relations Advisor Hope MacDonald Lonetree (left), met with Gov. Stephen Roe Lewis (center) on June 14 in the Governance Center. Leonardo has served as a Judge for the Pima County Superior Court since 1993, for over 19 years. He has been sworn in as the U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona since July 2012. The U.S. Attorney’s four offices serve the residents and the twenty-two American Indian tribes of Arizona; the U.S. Attorney is also responsible to prosecute Federal criminal cases and civil cases.
