July 2- 8, 2017

District One (Blackwater):
No incidents involving part 1 crime
District Two (Sacaton Flats):
Auto Theft – The victim reported his vehicle had been taken from his residence without permission. The victim stated he believes the vehicle may have been taken by his ex girlfriend while he was asleep. The vehicle was entered into NCIC (National Crime Information Center) as stolen.
Status: Under Investigation
Burglary– Department employee called dispatch and reported copper wire had been taken from the Olberg Presbyterian Church. The door was kicked in which caused damage to the door. Evidence is being evaluated to obtain further information.
Status: Under Investigation
District Three (Sacaton):
Aggravated Assault – The victim called dispatch stating she had been shot in the abdomen. Upon the arrival of Officers it was discovered the suspect had shot the victim in the abdomen during an altercation. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where she received further medical attention. The victim identified the suspect who was later contacted and arrested.
Status: Suspect was arrested
District Four (Stotonic Area):
Aggravated Assault – Officers responded to a verbal domestic call. During the course of the investigation it was discovered the suspect was found to have an active warrant. As the individual was being taken into custody they began to resist and kicked an officer during the altercation. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into jail.
Status: Suspect was arrested.
Auto Theft – The victim stated she had parked her vehicle at her boyfriend’s residence and would check on it periodically. During one of these checks she noticed the vehicle was no longer at his residence. The victim stated no one had her permission to remove the vehicle as it was not operable. A stolen affidavit was filled out and entered into NCIC (National Crime Information Center) as stolen.

District Four (Lone Butte Area):
Armed Robbery – A male suspect committed armed robbery by displaying a hand gun inside his waist band and demanded money from the cashier at the Love’s Truck Stop. The male suspect then fled from the store in an unknown direction. (Update: Suspect Arrested)
Status: Arrested
Shoplifting – A male suspect shoplifted several items from the Nike Store located at the Phoenix Premium Outlet. Arrest is pending further information
Status: Under Investigation
Shoplifting – A female suspect was in Tommy Hilfiger Store when she took two shirts and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. The female was stopped near the exit due to the sensors being activated. The female admitted she was going to take the clothes without paying for the items.
Status: Suspect was cited and released
District Five (Casa Blanca):
Burglary – Ira Hayes School was broken into and criminal damage occurred. During the course of the investigation photos were taken of the damages and evidence was collected which may link the suspects to the crime.
Status: Under Investigation
District Six (Komatke):
Aggravated Assault – The victim reported seven rounds had been fired from a handgun. One of the rounds had struck the victim in the side causing a laceration. The victim was treated by EMS and later released to his guardian.

Auto Theft – The reporting party stated they drove the vehicle to Vee Quiva Casino to gamble. When they were ready to leave the vehicle could not be located. The registered owner, who was out of the country, could not be contacted. Surveillance footage has been obtained in order to assist with identifying the suspect who took the vehicle.
Status: Under Investigation
Theft – The victim called dispatch in reference to missing property. The victim reported she was missing miscellaneous house hold items and believes they may have been stolen by family members.
Status: Under Investigation
Weapon– The victim stated she was asleep when she heard fireworks then metal being struck. When she got out of bed she observed individuals getting into a car and leaving at a high rate of speed. The victim did not know anyone who would want to cause harm to her or her residence. The victim’s residence was photographed where the bullet had struck, and placed into evidence for analysis.

District One (Blackwater):
Theft – A resident reported an unknown suspect(s) stole an exterior window screen. No other items were reported missing and no damage to the home was discovered. No physical evidence was recovered at the scene.
Status: Under Investigation
District Two (Sacaton Flats):
No incidents involving part 1 crime
District Three- (Sacaton)
Aggravated Assault – Police responded to conduct a welfare check on an individual. The responding officer determined the subject had a cut on their neck likely caused by a sharp object. The subject refused to cooperate with law enforcement and no crime scene or suspect was discovered. The victim was transported to the hospital and received medical treatment for his injury.
Status: Under Investigation
Aggravated Assault – The suspect stabbed the victim in the chest and arm with a knife during an altercation. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arriving to the scene. Officers completed the initial investigation and an arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect. The victim was transported to Chandler Regional for further medical treatment.

Shoplifting – The suspect was caught taking three sodas and a package of hot wings from the Sacaton Super Mart. The suspect was stopped at the front door until officers arrived. The suspect was informed that they were no longer welcome to shop at the store. If the subject returned to the store they would be charged with trespassing.
Status: Under Investigation
Burglary – An unknown suspect entered a department facility and took a blower that was being used to dry out the building after the rain storm. The blower was later recovered and the suspect was identified during the investigation. Police are currently attempting to locate and arrest the suspect.

District Four (Stotonic Area):
Aggravated Assault –A suspect stabbed the victim in the arm causing moderate injury which required medical attention. The victim was transported to the hospital for further medical treatment. The suspect was identified and arrested by police.
Status: Suspect was arrested
District Four (Lone Butte Area):
Auto Theft– The victim reported her vehicle stolen while she was at the Lone Butte Casino. The investigation revealed video of the suspect entering the vehicle and leaving the casino. Police have identified the suspect and are attempting to locate him.
Status: Under investigation
Shoplifting– Officers responded to the Coach Store in reference to purses being taken. Further investigation revealed that six purses were taken from a display when the suspect entered the store and took the purses without paying for them.
Status: Under investigation
Theft– A piece of luggage and laptop computers were stolen from a vehicle by an unknown suspect. A review of surveillance video showed a suspect and suspect vehicle next to the victim’s car at the time of the theft. Police were able to obtain the license plate information from the suspect vehicle and are conducting follow up.
Status: Under investigation
Theft – A two way radio was taken from the valet parking booth at the Wild Horse Pass Casino. The suspect is seen picking up the radio while waiting for a valet.
Status: Under investigation
Mesa Area:
Shoplifting – Officers responded to Toka Sticks Chevron in reference to a shoplifting call. Investigation revealed that a male suspect walked out of the store with multiple items without paying for the items and left the area after his card was not being accepted.
Status: Under investigation
District Five (Casa Blanca):
Aggravated Assault – The occupant of a residence was struck by a bullet fired into the home by a suspect outside. The victim did not suffer a serious injury and the suspect was arrested. The victim was transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.
Status: Suspect was arrested
Burglary - Unknown suspects forced entry into the Ira Hayes High School and stole items from within. Officers responded and several items of physical evidence were recovered and submitted to the crime lab.
Status: Under Investigation
District Six (Komatke):
Aggravated Assault – A juvenile female used a kitchen knife to cut the left forearm of the victim. The victim was transported to Chandler Regional for further medical attention. The suspect was detained and booked into JDRS.
Status: Juvenile was arrested

July 30- August 05, 2017

District One (Blackwater):
Aggravated Assault – A male victim was assaulted by being knocked to the ground and repeatedly punched and kicked by three male suspects. The female victim injured her wrist while attempting to break up the altercation. The male sustained significant swelling to the facial area and was sent out to an area hospital for further medical evaluation.
Status: Under investigation
District Two (Sacaton Flats):

District Three (Sacaton):
Aggravated Assault – Officers responded to a domestic in progress at a residence. The investigation revealed the male suspect hit victim number one twice with a closed fist. The suspect then also struck a second victim twice and grabbed a third victim pushing them in an aggressive manner. Upon the arrival of officers, they were able to locate the suspect in the back of the residence. The suspect was in possession of a firearm which he was holding in his hand. The suspect then threatened the officers by pointing the weapon at them. The Officers were able to take the suspect into custody by using less lethal force.
Status: Suspect was arrested
Theft – An elderly victim reported money was taken from their residence while no one was home. Officers are conducting a follow up with possible leads to help assist with names mentioned by the victim.
Status: Under investigation
Theft – An iPhone 6 was taken from a desk at the Department of Community Housing. The phone was located and the suspect was found with the phone still in their possession. The suspect did admit to taking the phone while at the Housing Office.

District Four (Stotonic):
Weapon – Officers were dispatched in reference to a previous shots fired call. Upon the officers arrival contact was made with the reporting party whom stated her residence was damaged during the shots fired. As the victim went to her kitchen area it was noticed there was a hole near the buttons on her microwave and in back of the microwave into the wall. During the shots fired the victim was watching television with five minor children. None of the individuals were injured. Photos were taken and submitted into evidence.

District Four (Lone Butte Area):
Burglary– A male suspect committed burglary by unlawfully entering a vehicle belonging to the victims. The suspect was later located at the casino where he confessed to entering the vehicle and taking various items from the vehicle. Most of the items were located and returned to the victims.
Status: Suspect was cited
Shoplifting– A Male suspect stole candy from Its Sugar Store at the Phoenix Premium Outlet.
Status: Under Investigation
Theft– A female suspect took items from the Sheraton Resort and placed them inside of her purse. The suspect then left the premises without paying for them.
Status: Under Investigation
Theft– The suspect removed and stole a side view mirror cover from a rental vehicle while it was parked at the Phoenix Premium Outlet. The victim reported the incident for insurance documentation.
Status: Under Investigation
Weapons– Officers responded to Chevron on Wild Horse Pass Blvd in reference to a female entering the store with a handgun in her waistband. Upon arrival contact was made with two females outside the store, who the clerk stated are frequent shoplifters. The clerk had already asked the individuals to leave the store before anything was stolen. Upon the arrival of Officers the weapon was checked which came back as stolen out of a west valley city. The female suspect was informed of the status and was going to be detained and booked into jail.

Mesa Area:

District Five (Casa Blanca):
Aggravated Assault – The two male suspects committed aggravated assault by stabbing the victim numerous times causing loss of blood and lacerations. The victim was transported to an area hospital for further medical attention. Detectives were called on scene to process the crime scene.
Status: Under Investigation
Aggravated Assault – The suspect assaulted the victim, his girlfriend of four years, by holding her down and punching her in the face and head resulting in lacerations to her head. The victim reported she was “choked” by the suspect and was not able to breathe. During the course of the investigation, the victim disclosed the suspect had previously broke her left arm sometime in the beginning of May. The victim refused medical treatment and the suspect was not located.
Status: Under Investigation
Aggravated Assault – The suspect attacked his wife, the victim, by pushing her to the ground and choking her causing her physical injury. The incident woke up the three children in the residence and all of them observed the assault. The suspect kicked the bedroom door trying to get to his victim. The suspect was detained and taken into custody.
Status: Suspect was arrested
Burglary - Subjects entered into the Ira Hayes School by removing a plywood board, breaking the glass window and entering the school. No current damages were documented due to the school being subject to multiple break-ins over the recent past. This case has been forwarded to the Detectives for review and follow-up.

District Six (Komatke):
Auto Theft – The suspect committed theft of means of transportation by taking possession of the victim’s vehicle without permission while at the Vee Quiva Casino. This case is currently being investigated with charges being forwarded to Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for review.
Status: Under Investigation
Burglary –The suspect unlawfully entered the victim’s vehicle by breaking the window and searching through the content of the car. The suspect was contacted by security and officers arrived on scene. The suspect initially stated the vehicle was his. After the original owner was located at the investigation revealed the owner did not know the individual who had damaged his vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into 4th Avenue Jail for burglary and two active warrants.
Status: Suspect Arrested
Shoplifting – The suspect was observed on surveillance footage taking various items off the shelves while watching the cashiers. He is then observed leaving the store and the clerk following behind him. The clerk immediately made contact with an officer who happened to be on the premises. Contact was then made with the suspect who went into the store and emptied his pockets. Various items were totaled and the receipt was submitted showing the total.
Status: Charges being filed against the suspect
Theft – The victim had a medical emergency in the parking lot where he fell down a flight of stairs. During the course of the incident the suspect reached down, where the victim was lying, and removed the wallet from the victim’s pants. The suspect was later located and handed over the wallet belonging to the victim. The suspect was turned over to Glendale PD for an outstanding active warrant. Due to the victim being unable to speak follow up will be conducted for possible further charges.

Theft –The suspect is observed on surveillance footage taking a ladder from the bed of the victims trucking and placing the ladder in his own truck. Contact was later made with the suspect and the ladder was recovered and returned to the victim. Charges are being forwarded to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for review.
