District One (Blackwater):
Aggravated Assault – Officers were dispatched in reference to an aggravated assault. The two victims stated they were being followed by three suspects from the area of Coolidge. The victim stated the suspects were in a maroon Lincoln navigator and had fired multiple rounds at them. The victim also advised at least one of the rounds had struck the back windshield of the victim’s vehicle.
Status: Under Investigation
Aggravated Assault – It was reported the suspect was at the residence causing a disturbance. The reporting party advised the suspect was hitting the victim during an altercation. The officers were also informed of a restraining order was in place between the victim and the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody for the aggravated assault and the violation of the court order.
Status: Suspect arrested
Burglary – The police department responded to a residence due to the reporting party advising of a home which had been burglarized. The individual had been checking on the victim’s home and noticed that a bicycle had been taken. They also observed damage to a window which was also reported.
Status: Under Investigation
Weapon – The suspect committed two counts of negligent use of a deadly weapon, along with other charges by firing a weapon into the air while at a residence in one of the housing developments. After firing the weapon, the suspect drove the vehicle to a different residence where it was located. Officers were then able to identify the suspect along with the two other occupants of the vehicle.
Status: Suspect was booked into DRS
District Two – (Sacaton Flats):
Burglary – Police responded to a residence in reference to a burglary. Through further investigation it was discovered a male subject entered the residence by breaking the rear sliding glass door. Once inside the residence the suspect took electronic equipment along with some of the home owner’s personal belongings. Charges in this matter are pending further follow up.

District Three (Sacaton):

District Four (Stotonic Area):
Aggravated Assault –Officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to unknown trouble. The investigation revealed the suspect went to the victim’s residence, displayed a machete and then used it against him by striking him. The victim sustained serious injury and was transported to Chandler Regional Medical Center where they underwent emergency surgery.

District Four (Lone Butte Area):

District Five (Casa Blanca):
Aggravated Assault – The victim called police and stated that she had been choked by the suspect who had also physically assaulted her.
Status: Under Investigation
Theft – The suspect committed theft by failing to return a phone which had been lent to him by the victim. The victim stated the suspect was given all day to return the phone and had asked for it back multiple times. The item has been put into the system as stolen and officers are conducting follow up.
Status: Under Investigation
Weapon – The reporting party advised a car was shooting at them as they drove by. The reporting party stated when they tried to stop to assist they noticed the vehicle appeared to be “hotwired”. As the victim was turning around someone fired rounds at their vehicle. Evidence was located in the area and Officers are conducting follow up.

District Six (Komatke):
Aggravated Assault – The victim was walking in the area of the District Six Service Center and was confronted by the suspect. After the victim attempted to walk away, the suspect attempted to strike the victim but missed. The suspect taunted the victim causing him to come back and a fight ensued. The victim was transported to Chandler Regional due to the extent of his injuries. The suspect was located that same day and booked into jail.
Status: Suspect was arrested and booked into DRS
Aggravated Assault – Officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to a shooting. The victim was found lying on the kitchen floor, injured but alert. The bullet entered the left side of his body under his arm at chest level. The victim was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment. The scene was processed, photographed and evidence has been located and submitted.
Status: Under Investigation
Auto Theft – The victim stated when they woke up they noticed their vehicle had been taken without their permission. The Officers completed all necessary paperwork and the vehicle has been submitted to the stolen vehicle database.

District One (Blackwater):
Weapon – Officers were called to a residence in reference to shots fired. The victim reported that the suspect came to the residence looking for a female. When the suspect was told the female was not there they then left in a white vehicle. Approximately fifteen minutes later two shots were heard outside of the house. Individuals from the house saw the white vehicle leaving their residence and also noticed the family vehicle now had two bullet holes in the car.

District Two (Sacaton Flats):
Burglary – A suspect(s) forced entry into a residence by smashing a bedroom window with a cinder block. The suspect then took electronic equipment belonging to the victim that had been a gift. Photos were taken of the damages and impounded into evidence.
Status: Under Investigation
District Three (Sacaton):
Aggravated Assault – The suspect went to the residence of her ex-girlfriend and stabbed her in the arm multiple times with a screwdriver. The suspect then threatened the victim’s brother with a knife and proceeded to break windows out of the residence. Photos were taken and submitted into evidence along with the knife and screwdriver. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into DRS.
Status: Suspect was booked into jail
Auto Theft – The victim called dispatch to report their vehicle stolen. Contact was made with the victim and he advised his vehicle had over heated which he then left on the side of the road. When the victim returned Sunday morning to pick it up, it was no longer in the area. The vehicle was later located in another jurisdiction abandoned.
Status Under Investigation
Theft – Officers were dispatched to a residence for a theft of property. Officers were informed the victim had recently moved to Chandler but still had some items left at the old residence. When the victim arrived at the residence to pick up the remaining items they observed two widows and other personal items which were now missing. A witness stated that multiple subjects were observed coming in and out of the house while the victim was gone.

District Four (Stotonic Area):
Aggravated Assault – GRPD investigated an incident which involved the suspect stabbing the victim during an argument. The victim received the wound on the arm before being able to flee from the suspect. The suspect was located and taken into custody.
Status: Suspect was taken into custody
District Four (Lone Butte Area):
Aggravated Assault – The victim was assaulted and stabbed by the suspect who was identified as the victim’s boyfriend. The victim reported she had been stabbed in the vehicle while they were traveling on a roadway within the Gila River Indian Community. The vehicle was also involved in a hit and run accident. The vehicle and suspect were later located and the suspect was taken into custody.
Status: Suspect was booked into jail
Auto Theft– The victim was at one of the Casinos when their vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. The victim misplaced her jacket while she was inside the casino which happened to have the keys in the pocket. The suspect was observed on video picking up the jacket and leaving the casino.
Status: Under Investigation
Auto Theft– Officers were dispatched to the Sheraton Resort in reference to an auto theft. The investigation revealed the victim’s truck was taken from the premises. A vehicle was observed coming onto the premises and leaving approximately ten minutes later along with the victim’s vehicle. A stolen vehicle affidavit was completed and entered into the system.

Theft– Two females entered the Tommy Hilfiger Store for approximately thirty minutes. After browsing the store they attempt to leave but set off the alarm. After reviewing surveillance footage it was observed they had stolen five items.

Theft– The victim called dispatch to report a theft that had occurred approximately two weeks prior. The victim stated while gambling at the casino she had left her vehicle unsecured. Upon returning back to her residence she noticed her golf clubs were now gone.

District Five (Casa Blanca):

District Six (Komatke):
Aggravated Assault – The suspect shot a firearm in the direction of multiple subjects. One of the rounds struck a female, the victim, who suffered minor injuries. While investigating the incident there were spent shell casing located at the scene. Multiple subjects’ names were mentioned but the suspect for the shooting was identified. The suspect was located and did admit to owning a firearm. The firearm was seized and impounded into evidence.
Status: Suspect was arrested and booked into jail
Aggravated Assault – Officers responded to a residence in reference to an assault. Further investigation revealed the victim was assaulted by the suspect with a mop handle. The victim was transported to an area hospital for further medical treatment. The suspect was located and taken into custody where they were then booked into DRS.
Status: Suspect was booked into jail
Burglary – Officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to a theft of a purse. Contact was made with the victim who stated she had returned home and heard someone yell “bring back the purse”. The suspect had entered the residence, grabbed the purse and then run off. The suspect was later located in reference to another incident and booked into jail. Evidence was located confirming the suspect was the one who stole the purse.
Status: Suspect was arrested and booked into jail
Weapon – Officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to a male subject being shot. Upon the officer’s arrival they observed three male subjects in front of a residence. The injured male (victim) was transported to the hospital where he was taken for further medical treatment. A 40 caliber live round was located along with a used shell casing.
