The holidays were well celebrated around the Community with the annual River of Lights parade held in Sacaton on Friday, Dec. 6., but the districts also hosted their own holiday events, which included plenty of fun, music, games, food and gifts for the whole family to enjoy.
On Saturday, Dec. 21, District 1 held their Christmas event at the District 1 Multipurpose Building. Community members got to enjoy a lunch, Santa Claus, gifts and even a talent show hosted by the District 1 Recreation.
District 3 held a Christmas event at the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley, where families enjoyed food, music, inflatable jumpers, gifts for kids and even a wagon ride. District 6 celebrated the season with a “Winter Bash” at Kalka Park. Games, live music, food and gifts brought together plenty of Community members for the event.
